Here’s a fun annual fundraiser accepting submissions. The event is in Woodstock, NY but you can send your work as long it arrives by the deadline. Deadline is November 18th. Strict parameters so read carefully. Seventeenth Annual 5 by 7 Show Kleinert/James Center for the Arts, 36 Tinker Street, Woodstock, NY 12498 December 3 – 31, 2016. The deadline for “New American Paintings” next Northeast edition (for artists in CT, DE, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI & VT) is August 31st. The juror for this one is Laura Phipps, Assistant Curator, Whitney Museum of American Art. $50 fee to submit. Interested but not your area? You can sign up to receive updates on their website.

Here’s an opportunity that might interest you: Open call for submissions from artists (& designers & galleries) to participate in the 4heads Art Fair in September on gorgeous Govenor’s Island.
